Repairs and building rehabilitation

When a structure reaches the end of its design life or suffers damage from accidental loading, it may exhibit signs of distress that compromise its serviceability and compliance with safety standards. In such cases, structural modification or strengthening becomes necessary to restore performance and ensure continued safe use. We assess the actual condition of the structure, identify the root cause of deterioration or distress, and recommend appropriate remedial solutions to reinstate its structural integrity and long-term performance.

A structured condition survey establishes what is happening and why, backed by testing where the evidence calls for it.

Repair

Remediation is specified to address the cause, restore structural capacity and meet the required performance objectives.

Discipline 03

Site supervision

We check the work on site against what was designed: setting out, reinforcement, materials and assembly. All construction activities are routinely monitored and inspected by our site supervisory team. Quality-control testing is carried out on the relevant components of the works, in accordance with the applicable standards and project specifications. Work that meets the specified criteria is formally accepted and signed off; any non-compliant work is rejected and communicated to the contractor for corrective action to bring it into full conformance.
